Yes. An ICY SIM eSIM works across United States on T-Mobile and Verizon, as long as your phone supports eSIM and is carrier-unlocked. You install it before you fly and it connects when you land — no SIM shop at the airport and no roaming charges from your home carrier. Most travellers use about 500 MB a day — the 5GB / 30-day plan ($7) covers a week of moderate use.
You’ll land at hubs like New York JFK, Los Angeles LAX or Miami MIA, all with strong 4G/5G. Coverage is excellent in cities and along interstate highways, but drops in national parks and remote deserts — think Yellowstone, Death Valley or the Grand Canyon backcountry — so download offline maps before road trips. Ride-hailing apps such as Uber and Lyft need data to work. More in our USA visitor guide.

ICY SIM plans are data-only, so you don't get a local phone number. Keep your home SIM active for calls and SMS, and use WhatsApp, FaceTime or iMessage over your ICY SIM data.
Yes — hotspot and tethering are supported, so you can share your data with a laptop or a travel companion. It uses your data allowance faster.
Install it at home over Wi-Fi before you leave. The plan's validity starts when you first use data on it, not when you buy or install it, so installing early doesn't cost you any days in United States.
If your eSIM hasn't been installed yet, contact us within 24 hours of purchase. Once it's installed or any data has been used it's non-refundable — but we always refund provisioning failures, technical defects and duplicate charges.
